Fall Classes Underway!
Welcome back for another great semester at TSTC! We look forward to showing each and every one of you what it means to be a "Techsan." There are many great events planned to complement your studies.

Begin the semester with a party everyday! Welcome Week runs September 7-September 10 from 11:30AM-1PM daily at the Student Center Cafeteria. Come out for live entertainment, an art competition, ice cream sundaes, cake, punch, and meet the TSTC Administration, student clubs, and Student Government Association! What a great place to make new friends!

Critical Thinking Workshops have been revamped to become Mini-Institutes focused on a common theme. Qualified participants will receive credit on their co-curricular transcript and enjoy a Mini-Institute Graduation Ceremony. The fall semester will emphasize Healthy Lifestyles. TSTC TechBooks Offer Students Convenient Connections
The Auxiliary Services Office and Verizon formed a partnership for on-campus distribution of the TSTC TechBooks – with a wireless Internet and Microsoft Office Suite 2010 software – through September 17. The one-year Verizon contract for nationwide 3G service and the TSTC TechBooks are available for a one-time fee of $650. The one-time payment may be made with financial aid or loan funds. Payment also is possible with a combination of financial aid and personal funds; cash, credit card and checks are accepted.

Verizon provides technical support for the TSTC TechBook and Internet service (800.922.0204 or Verizon stores). The TSTC Help Desk (956.364.500) provides technical support for MyMail, WebAdvisor or other student applications. The one-time TSTC TechBook fee is non-refundable.
